Information & Guide to Childhood ASD:
Autism Spectrum Disorder

A resource for parents, educators & children
Whether you are a parent, child, or educator, we hope this website has given you more of an insight and understanding into ASD and what it feels like to experience this disability everyday. Autism is a lifelong developmental delay that affects how a person communicates with, and relates to other people. It also affects how they make sense of the world around them. It is important to remember that people with autism have feelings too, it is important to be both sensitive and understanding. Every child is different and unique, and we need to remember that autism is not part of the child. It is not everything they are. The child is much more than their diagnosis. Autism Awareness day is April 2, 2015.
